DETAILS: A meeting of great minds! If you are a LEGO® fan, if you love being creative and enjoy problem solving, teamwork then this is the class for you! Students will be challenged to design and build their own LEGO® models. From spaceships to buildings- the sky is the limit! The ultimate task will be making robots that will challenge each other’s willpower and strength!
INSTRUCTORS: Coach Jim McCann is a former industrial arts/technology teacher. His last year of teaching high school was in engineering and robotics. He was also a wrestling coach for many years. Joining him in the Lego adventure is his son Jimmy, an avid Lego enthusiast and positive role model; and James Cartner who served in the US Navy as a deck engineer and is now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work. James has worked with children of all ages in the Pinellas County School System.
